Dr. Teves graduated from Touro University California, and completed her residency and board certification in Family Medicine at UHS - Wilson Regional Hospital in Johnson City, NY. She earned her BA from UC Berkeley, and holds an MFA degree in Poetry and Literature from Bennington College, VT. She has trained extensively in yoga and martial arts, and is passionate about sharing how we can breathe better to create better physiology.
In 2014, she opened Nine Rivers Osteopathy, a private practice devoted to osteopathic medicine in Ithaca, NY while working as an urgent care physician at Cayuga Medical Center. She now practices in Vestal and Ithaca.
Tara is happy to greet you, schedule your appointments, and answer questions related to OMT treatments as well as our other services. She and Dr. Anjani have been friends for over 25 years and she is dedicated to success for our patients and practice.
When not in the office, she enjoys plant and mushroom medicine, meditation, painting, qigong, swimming in the creek with friends, and exploring the amazing ecosystems of our bioregion.

Lori is extremely curious and enthusiastic. She is fascinated with people stories. She has devoted her time to constant evolution, health, and investigating what that means for each person. She is determined to live a life with no regrets and to fulfill her mission of spreading joy and light to everyone.
